Went to the beach two weeks ago. Put a Coleman wheeled cooler in the frunk (Gotta have refreshments and snacks!) - perfect fit. Towels and blanket went around the cooler and on top of it - plenty of room around the cooler for loose fitting stuff. Put a folding chair in the back with seat backs folded down, another one of those vertical folding camping chairs behind the seat, a small duffle with a change of clothes, bluetooth speaker (gotta have some music), and we were good to go. Only thing we didn't have but could have fit: umbrella.
Other than a bit of sand in the car, no problem!!
