was curious if you managed to pack enough for 3 days & 2 nights (2 people, me and my 12 year old daughter). did you take beach chairs? an umbrella? how did things fit in?

Only chair I've found that fits in Frunk of 991 is the Martini one from Porsche. An only one fits. Small sun umbrella I slide along outside of passenger seat. Beyond that small luggage only and certainly no beach lounges.

Bummer. I'll have to try a test fit then. I used to be able to get two of these into the back seat of the 993 along with my 2-piece umbrella.

OK, looking at the chair I do think two might would fit in back seat of a coupe. I'm working with a Cab which seems to have smaller back seat area and then of course I'd rather not put the top up if doing a "holiday" trip.

I'd hate to have to cleanup all the sand afterwards.

Honestly I don't mind the sand...in fact it serves as a great reminder of the fun we typically have for weeks afterwards. My cars are drivers...I like to keep them clean but no longer sweat the small stuff like I did when I was younger.

Rent chairs, $5-$6 all day and tip the hot girl. Pack duffle bags and buy anything you forget. should be plenty of room.

Only downside for me was today my windshield was destroyed by a dump truck with a loose rock. Great way to start the morning.

Better hurry up. Temps are dropping fast here in the northeast. Mid august feels like fall already.
