Very true, if you look on tire rack they won't even offer their road hazard insurance on some low profile tires they sell. Btw you can negotiate that insurance price just like you can on a car.

Checking around, been seeing 750 - 1250 for most Porsche buyers for the 5 year coverage. I thought this was high and went back saying I thought it was high and asked for a few free oil changes instead of canceling and they replied that they wouldn't do that. Its either keep it or cancel it.

Will they replace both tires (front or back; assuming they are worn and within the mfg threshold for replacing both) if one has damage and is un-repairable?

Much of our discourse on this forum is pretty close to the above

With respect to replacement of damaged worn tires, I believe the limit on my policy is 3/32. You should get a copy of the policy from the dealer in advance and read it. Not the slick brochure but the policy written on a multipage in dense language

Laughing uncontrollably, except there's nothing sticking out of my tire.

Not into after market shoes either ... Do they offer a warranty if you step on a nail or something? By the fancy name, they must be very special shoes...

Actually they are made from horse leather and while there is no warranty I've sent them back to the mothership to be resoled, reheeled and rebuilt a couple of times There's no sunroof and totally manual. Sort of a part of a uniform for a late middle aged lawyer.

Speaking from experience, my black wing tips leave nasty marks on plastic trim getting in and out of the car. Fortunately I learned this on my bmw, not my carerra.

No, only replace a tire as long as it 2/32 inch of tread at its lowest. No proration over the depth.
