For those that have never been, well worth the pilgrimage.

 

Oh boy, been there before, seen most of them. But so jealous of you. That picture of the 911 Panamericana. A poster of that car was on my wall for years when I was a teenager. I would have loved to see it in real life !
And allthough I'm going back to Stuttgart next month for the "Sound Nacht" and the new "Project Geheim" exhibition, I'm afraid it will be gone by then.

Wonderful pictures. Going there on September 26 and again October 9. These will be my 7th and 8th visits to the new museum and 11th and 12th Factory tours. Can't get enough of the place.

I wonder how many people know that the # 23 Red 917 is not the actual red #23 that won the first race for Porsche Salzburg. Had this confirmed by the Tour guide two years ago. The real one is somewhere in the USA apparently. I'm also told the Pink Pig 917 (my favourite car in the Museum) is not the original Pink Pig either but I'm not so sure that's correct.

Don't know if everybody noticed, but look at that 911 Panamericana. It has Porsche logos for tire threadpattern ! How cool is that !
