No I mean if u guys would prefer getting the gts now or wait for the face lifted 991 like a year later.... Coz once facelift is out, the gts might look dated already

I personally think that the 991.1 and 991.2 will look very similar, with a few minor touches.

Interior will be much more like the Macan with a whole new PCM plus touch screens throughout and I believe the tail lights will be like the macans as well.

If you want to wait another year I think it's worth it otherwise life is short get the 4gts and enjoy.

Talking GTS 2 rocks

Which way are you leaning...?

I'm leaning toward a GTS CAB, in Guards Red/ Black GTS Alcantara Interior.

Difficult question. My stock answer is always "newer is better". But the GTS really is a looker ! And with the advent of turbo engines (which I do not particularly care for) ...

Just make sure we don't get suck into another 997 GTS gimmick. When they released 997 GTS, it was the best 911 with 405 HP ( 25 HP) more than the normal 997. 6 months later, 991 came out with all around better performance ( acceleration & handling). No 991 driver was looking back to the 997 GTS because the 991 was just an overall better car.

Let's hope the 991.2 is a minor upgrade to FI and not a car that will make all 991 GTS owners regretting not to wait another 6 months for the 991.2 ( just like the 997 GTS to 991 transition).

What's your motivation here OP? Resale? Performance? Alcantara? AFAIK there's a big price bump for that GTS badge and all the stuff that comes with it.

Well since the 991.2 is only a minor facelift and not the generational jump from 997 to 991 - my vote goes to the GTS!

Every minute you're contemplating you're not driving. I did the same thing last year when ordering my car. Do I wait for a GTS? Do I wait for the facelift? Do I wait 4 more months and get the next MY??? In the end there is always something newer, better, faster just around the corner. Purchase what you like right now and enjoy! Especially if you like NA engines as all the signs are pretty compelling that .2 will be turbo charged.
