annoying Window Auto-Return issue

as you know the 991 has this feature that the windows drop down about 1/4-1/2" upon opening the door...so the glass clears the body and molding. then once you close the door, the window returns to it's fully closed position.

after i did my AWE Foiler install i've noticed that the window doesn't always return to fully closed because it's actually opening too far...over 1/2" in travel.

i'm thinking this might be a simple adjustment...or something came loose when i removed the inner door panel during the install.

anyone else have this happen?

You have to lower the window and keep the switch press for a few seconds after the window is completely down. Now do the same closing the window. It happens every time the battery is disconnected.

Like C4s stated, windows must be reset. My understanding is that hold the switch when it is completely up too. I guess try both and see which one works:

To reset (car must be on):

1) lower the window all the way down and release the switch
2) push the switch down, hold it there for 3 seconds, and then release
3) raise the window all the way and release the switch
4) pull the switch up, hold it for 3 seconds, and then release
5) turn car off and then back on

I have to give this a try. I think the previous version of instruction that I tried before didn't have the "release" between step 3 and 4.
