Hello everyone I posted this on another forum but wanted to get opinions from you guys also every time I shut off the engine, I can hear what I think is the throttle metal butterfly closing or when driving if I do quick press on the gas in and out, I can hear the sound of a metal noise followed by a ping, not sure might be spark knock.. anyways just checking if this is something normal you guys are having and listeing everyday, thanks

 

Mine does not sound like that. I would say that it is NOT normal. A dealer visit should be required...

3.8 or 3.4 L? Miles?

 

2013 3.4 with 23k Its like if air was staying inside and after shutting the engine, then goes out and the flap closes..

 

Nope not normal based on what mine does

 

thanks, Hopefully legitimate claim for them to check, not the same BS, noise is normal from an engine this size

 

Wow, that does sound unusual. I'm interested in finding out what it is.
