Front spoiler lip
Yes both actually. The best way to describe it is to compare it to the 997 C2S I had. It seemed the faster you went in that car, the more planted it got at speed- and that was a cabriolet. The 991's front end seemed to float a little the faster you went, not a ton, but you didn't have that same planted feel. At first I thought it was the electronic steering and me interpreting it's "precision" as being sensitive. My dealer suggested the lip more for aesthetics, but when I saw it I thought, who knows, even if it helps a little, it'll be an improvement.
On my way home from the install I pass a gradually increasing radius turn - it's about 1/2 mile. Between the floating front of the car and the 20 inch tires, this would normally be a somewhat depressing jaunt. Well suffice to say after the lip install the front of the car was nailed down to the road- I felt so much more in control and now was only limited by tire patch. The car is completely transformed- I can't imagine what it must be like with the sport design package.
I then had a chance to take the car to Monticello in NY- it was UFB. Can't tell you how this little thing transformed the car. I also had the SD side mirrors installed - they look great and all the whistling is gone.
I hope that helps!! Merry Christmas everybody!!

Hah! Well, that changes everything. I track the car often, so I may throw this back onto my to-do list for next year.
Merry Christmas.
