See ya,,, it's been fun

After 14 years of driving Porsche cars I had to let my 991 go.
It's been loads of fun and maybe someday I'll be back.

We'll look forward to your return in the near future.

How's the Stingray compared to the 991? I'm assuming that you find yourself reaching for the Vette more often now?

Both cars are beasts.
Corvette is more Mike Tyson and Porsche is more Bruce Lee

This is my 3rd Corvette but I do love my Porsches, they dare you to go faster and hit the turns at Max.

The jury is still out on this new Vette.

I must say, I do like the look

Gorgeous. I like the new generation, but I do think the design is very on/off, if that makes sense. It either looks amazing at that very moment, or it looks like overkill. That's one of the reasons why I can't see myself daily driving such a beast.

Track-wise, though? They're pure performers.

Enjoy her!

Good luck and hope to see you back. The vette looks great, would love to do a few hot laps as I hear it does very good on the track.
Stay safe.

Great having you on the forum! The C7 is nice and great performer for the money. If I had to do a C7, I would look at the new Z06.

However, the designers really messed up the C7 rear end IMO.
Look at it carefully...it looks like a transformer from the rear and there are so many vents it ruins the heritage of the Corvette design. But looks are subjective. It would be interesting if the designers kept to round taillights. As I understand it, there is speculation that the next Z01 will be mid-engine and go back to round taillights.

The C7 looks great in white.
Must be because it calms the over agressive styling.

I AX and hot lapped them at Cal Speeeday, and they are incredible performers. Very stable and easy to drive hard. Although on just PSS it felt like R Comp tires, so the suspension works well.

Nice looking C7. I sort of have an itch for one myself, but seats and interior room are a little tight for me, but think I could make it work if I want one bad enough. Give us some reports from time to time.

You'd better look REALLY hard: the latest generation ZO6 hit the streets a few weeks back and they're plagued with problems (overheating, blown engines, and an evident performance problem: they're losing to cars that they were supposed to destroy, including the viper and ZR1. Check out YouTube to see some of the startling footage (the Hitler ZO6 parody is priceless).

I had one on order and pulled the plug; I've decided to go with Mopar for my torque addiction.

Of course ... Porsche never has any blown engine problems
