medacus is infamous around these parts
I have a 3.4 so it cost more. They needed to install the vacuum lines which are already on the s models. Parts 2500 and another 1000 for labor. Some other aftermarket systems cost almost that much just for the parts. Plus I have the peace of mind that it is true porsche. Although the aftermarket ones are probably more agressive

Well, if you have an S car adding PSE is less expensive because you already have some of the necessary parts, and not everything gets replaced. Labor should be a bit less too. With a base 3.4 car there's more involved in the upgrade. Tons of detailed threads on this topic and costs for different scenarios if you search for them...

Here's the thread I started on this topic. Total for parts and labor was actually $2114. That said, there was one part from that list that I returned as it was not needed for the install:

I just installed PSE after the fact, and was wondering is there any message show on the dash board when you pressed the PSE button? My car doesn't show any message but the sound is different when button is on. I just to make sure my dealer installed them correctly. Thank you

No message for PSE other than indicator light on the button itself.
