Has anyone lowered their 991 (springs) themselves?
Unless you came up with a new way to remove the rear springs from the rear shocks you absolutely need to pull back the interior carpet and insulation bits behind the rear seats that are "hiding" the rear shock tower mounting bolts. With the Cab you also have to deal with putting the top in service position and from what I can tell access is much more restricted space-wise....
By the way boatman -- still love that pic! Did you replace those wheels with something more aggressive? Or go back to stock?

LOL i guess i had to then, i just don't remember it, its been awhile. Anyway it wasn't hard, I know that.
As far as the wheels I put stock wheels on and sold the car.

Did any of you have to also replace the factory suspension like toe links when you installed the springs on your 991's? I know when I was considering installing springs on my 996TT I was told if I didn't replace the toe links too I would not be able to achieve proper alignment specs resulting in poor tire wear and an insufficient contact patch.
