LOL i guess i had to then, i just don't remember it, its been awhile. Anyway it wasn't hard, I know that.

As far as the wheels I put stock wheels on and sold the car.

Has anyone lowered their 991 (springs) themselves?

Did any of you have to also replace the factory suspension like toe links when you installed the springs on your 991's? I know when I was considering installing springs on my 996TT I was told if I didn't replace the toe links too I would not be able to achieve proper alignment specs resulting in poor tire wear and an insufficient contact patch.

Nope. Can't comment on whether there was any issue on achieving a specific "proper" spec in alignment (by proper do you mean factory?). Sure you could replace toe links and a bunch of other suspension bits to achieve even more flexibility in adjustments, such as the program Elephant Racing has commented on. But simply replacing springs shouldn't require going to that length unless you are trying to achieve something more than just aesthetic lowering....
