Front Trunk 4S vs 2S

I did search for this...

Does anyone know the relative size of the front trunk in a 4S vs. a 2S? I have a 2S so I know how big that one is. The pics I found of a C4S trunk look as big as the C2S.

I searched google, the PCNA site, and here...

I remember the 996 C4 had a much smaller trunk. I'm thinking about buying a 4S as a DD here in Milwaukee but I travel and want to know if the 4S will take my luggage without putting it in the car.

Thanks!

Both are listed on Porsche website as 54.2 gals . Look under body specs for both models.

The upper part of the frunk should be the same.

The lower half is narrower on the 4S models because of the axel width.

The way to find out would be to get the size difference between the two liners from Suncoast.

The 4S liners are narrower than the S. How much? Not sure. I'm guessing around 2" max possibly.

On a 2015 C4S:

Depth (up & down) 16+" at front, 22+" at back.
Width 27" measured at bottom.
Length (front to back) 15+"

In Nov/Dec last year I was shopping for a 991 C4s CPO cab vs a C2s. Finally came very close to a deal and brought 2 x Costco 22" rollaboards along. The 4S would only take one. The 2S would take both. Given the price delta and the planned use of the car after I retire, I switched to the 2s (and found a perfect 2012.5 CPO at the end of December). I know frunk space seems like a trivial factor when deciding on a car - but when I realized that the 2S handling had really improved (I was coming from a 981 Boxster S), the frunk was larger, and the price was lower - case closed.

The specs show a very small delta in total volume, but the configuration difference in usable space as a result of the 4x mechanicals taking some space made a noteworthy difference (for us).

It's important to chill the wine first. Okay. I found, at a Army/Navy Surplus store, a heavy canvas cargo bag. When full it is 15 X 15 X 24. Fits exactly in a C4S Frunk. Good zipper and good canvas handles. Collapsed it is about a half inch thick and again, fits exactly on the floor of the frunk, like a rug. $21.95. Not surplus, but I thought it fits so well, and its inexpensive, and you never know when, so what the H. Made by Fox Cargo - - - Parachute Cargo Bag.
