What's the comfort diff between 14 and 18 way seats

I have the 14 way seats and my butt hurts after an hour of driving. Anyone really know what the comfort difference is between the 14 and the 18 way seats. I have the standard suspension system and don't think any of the sports suspension options will give me the option of a softer suspension. Any thoughts from you experts??

Are they ventilated? Ventilated seats seem harder to my butt.

Well, every butt has its own comfort level, but the 18 way adaptive seats are just that: fully adjustable and extraordinarily comfortable for a sport seat. I've taken several 500 mile trips throughout the northeast and always feel pretty good, especially in Canada when you are alone, except for the air police, and flying at triple digits. Not thinking too much about the seats then, just the sound!

Butt wise the 14 and 18 are about the same I presume. The big difference to me is the shoulder winglets on the 18 that push my shoulders forward and make it damn uncomfortable for me. Thats why I choose 14 way seats, and loving them ...

Can only speak about 18 way that I have in ventilated form in my 991 TTS and Alcantera in my Panamera GTS. The most supportive seats in the industry, including those excellent A8, articulated, massage and ventilated seats. Have taken three to five hour drives in both and their adjust-ability and firmness sets them apart. Not sure abou the difference with 14 way Porsche seats, but am confident that they are supportive as well.
