Coolant and O ring issue
My car is almost three years old and with over 44,000 miles I decided it was time to empty, flush and replace the coolant. As there are two radiators and lots of places for air to hide out I left this job to a professional.
Six hours later the car was ready. They drained, flushed, filled and purged air. They charged .9 hours plus the cost of the coolant. Total bill.... $223.63 including sales tax.
They also reset my oil reminder setting for no charge
There seems to be a controversy brewing. tech told me that there is the possibility that Porsche failed to install an O Ring on the oil pump on some engines They will be dropping the pan next oil change to see if my engine was blessed with the ring. Will report back with details.

Your 100% correct. I am waiting to see what my dealer does about the wheels and chip. To quote the service manager" Your to picky (OCD) and we can't afford to work on your car"
I can't afford to have them ruin my car! No one needs a Porsche, we but them because of the love for the brand and we want our cars taken car of. If this was a lease I would still care about it but it's mine 100% free and clear.
Before I blast them I want to see if they make good. Being in the business of buying over 10,000 cars a year and dealing with a lot of factories I know a lot of people. This manager should be working someplace else. I already spoke to a friend at Porsche and even he said the dealer was 100% wrong but wont do anything until I say so.
Rule one: Never talk down to a customer and never make the customer think your doing them a favor working on there car. Everyone at this dealership was very professional even the tech, until this. How to ruin a good rating. I looked on Dealer Review and they had no reviews, strange as every other dealer in the area had 4.5 stars.

Nick Murray for President,
.
Sorry for the post, I guess I am just to "picky (OCD)" . At least I didn't have to pay for any extra grease left behind. The tech was very careful in this regard. I can almost forgive what happened but its the service managers attitude that put me on the offensive.
Don't let them get away with it and don't budge an inch. Damage during a test drive is unacceptable on any car. Absolutely ridiculous that he thinks you are picky because they damaged your car.
We all know what the internet can do.
I will give them till next week to get back to me and then I will watch there CSI drop. A drop in CSI can cost them $$$. I always try and be a nice guy first but in my business nice guys finish last. What is ironic, they looked the car over with a fine tooth comb prior to working on it at my requested but said nothing when it was returned.
Someone spending six figures for a toy shouldn't have to be put up with this, nor anyone regardless of cost.

I have to say the dealership service manager stood up an apologized. They agreed to take care of the damage and said they would be more than careful next time. We are all men so we need to move on and build the relationship back. Because they stood up, I have to agree, forgive and forget. I will give them my service in the future.
