Some news on 991.2. Not sure why 10-15 HP would draw more sales given give-up of NA, but it may drive wonderfully.

Front end looks cleaner than expected (based on prior masked shots). But overall, I like the 991.1 design much, much more. I really don't understand why they butchered the rear end like that.

Wishful thinking i believe. Like the 996 onwards, the 911 has become more mainstream appealing to a wider demographic than us "purists". But Porsche is a company that is trying to maximize profits hence the expansion into other vehicles from its roots; Panamera, Cayenne, Cayman, Macan, ect. The 991.2 will boast enough features and enough to give a push to slowing sales until the next generation 911 debuts. I'm sure the standard turbo version will drive great and get great reviews from magazines and hence positive sales to Porsche. For us purists I think we just need to accept that the 991 is not a raw no frills sports car that was the past and that it now caters to a wider audience. Don't think its a bad thing.

From 350 to 365? Is that fact or speculation? i had heard 400hp for the base. If the base is only getting 365 then I am done with Porsche forever as they will have proven that these guys just don't get it.
That looks awfully Caymanish to me.
No.
