So assuming you have lived with your 991 for a year or two, what would you change on your next 991..?

My list:

Wouldn't change:
-PSE
-Seat Ventilation.
-PDK (always a controversial topic lol)
- Probably would still do carrera S over Base.. But I might think about a base a little harder.
-14 way seats.. Always a debate but the 18 way didn't seem to add much for me, and liked the 14 way much better than the 4way..
-Interior leather.. The combination I got is fine.. Some go crazy with the additional and expensive leather upgrades..
-Black dials with the black NC option (otherwise you get the one center gauge in a weird greyish).. Was thinking of white, but upgrading the SC and the instruments would have totaled $1500. Glad I went with all black.

Would get
- Backup cam (wasn't available at the time yet, but I retrofitted)
- Burmester (BOSE isn't as bad as everyone says once you get the settings adjusted, but I'd still like something a bit better).
- LED head-lights
- Color.. in general I'm a black or red sports car guy.. But I've seen a few colors that were gorgeous. So this is a maybe..
- Illuminated Door sills.. Yes basically useless and overpriced but I like them.

wouldn't get
- Sports Chrono.. another controversial topic.. many will tell you must have it for resale value, but hogwash.. It was a waste of $2500 to me. Would have rather spent it on some other feature
- Hate the keyless ignition.. I've had endless debates with those who claim it is more convenient. I hate this on every car I have that has it.. I just like using the remote to unlock and stick the key in the ignition.. The funky plastic fake key just confirms why I don't like it and always find it awkward

 

I'd get PCCB. I have them on a Panamera and love them. At this point I'm in denial about replacement cost. I'd probable get MT. Otherwise no change. I think PSE is only must have.

 

I'm very satisfied with my config and I really wouldn't change a thing. I went for simple, so I didn't get many options at all. 7MT, sunroof, sport design steering wheel, agate grey optional color, 20" wheels. That's it!

But I would like an engine that doesn't have the stumble. :-/

 

If I had to do all over .. PCCB, full leather and would of went for the 4 GTS versus my C4S ... just because I had a Turbo and previous C4S ..

 

2013 4S

Better more stable cup holders, different location.
Sliding Glass Sunroof, slide Farther back, so it's more open.
Get rid of the on/off economy whatever button, the one that is On/Red, but the function is off...lol
Tell me what the Real Coolant temp is 194*
Make PSE LOUDER!!
Keep the DRL's Bright when I turn on the parking lights.

I have most of what the OP wouldn't change except the black dials. I would also add to the not change:
PDK, I love the flexibility it offers. Also lets my wife drive and she can't drive manual.

Sport Chrono, simply because I love launch
control. Is it worth it, maybe not, but I like it.

Would remove:
Sunroof, I like it, just don't use that much. Wife complains when I do.

Would add:
PCCB like every one else. It's lighter, cleaner, and the yellow would go better with my blue.
And either one of the tail kits, full tail or ducktail. They weren't available when the car first came out. I would've had to wait another 3 months on top of the 6 after I ordered.
