Need help with torn wheel well trim

The wheel well trim piece at the bottom is torn as you can see in the picture. Dealer says it can't be replaced under warranty because it probably got caught on something and tore. Can anyone recommend a good adhesive to put it back together? I'd rather not replace the whole thing unless I absolutely have to.

There isn't really enough surface for superglue to stick. I might have to do something like a plastic 'weld'.

Could drill some small holes and stitch it back together with some zip ties along with some epoxy type glue.

Did you happen to price a new wheel liner?

Good idea. Dealer quoted about $280 (part only) for the new liner.

I did almost the exact same fix on my Cayman a couple years ago. You can easily gain access to the inside without completely removing the liner. I found some scrap plastic and glued it to the backside of the tear (rough up both surfaces to maximize bond) with two-part epoxy (hardware store). The fix is invisible. Total repair time not including the drying time was less than an hour. It's still holding!
