MPSS installed - world of difference already

Just had 245/295 MPSS installed on my 991 C2S coupe. Wow. P Zeros rode harsh and noisy. Literally you feel like the Michelin man is gently gliding your 911 over the pavement. Love the tires already.

anyone out there who is debating MPSS v. P Zero, debate no more. Get the MPSS (if you can find a set lol). You will be very very happy.

That's really great to hear. I love the grip of my PZeros but the droning from the road noise is really annoying when I'm doing highway miles.

Any word on N rated PSS versions? Or are they skipping those and going straight to N rated Pilot Sport 4s?

I agree. Just switched mine to 245/305 and they ride much more quietly than the Pzeros. They also seem grippier.

I agree, my Boxster has P-Zeros and my 911 has MPSS, you can definitely tell the difference.

PSS is amazing. I loved them on M3/M5 and replaced my P Zeros with PSS. Love them.
It's the best reasonably priced long lasting sticky street tires.

Couldn't agree more. Still have the P zeros on my current TTS. The michelins are so much quieter. Had them on my 2010 Cayman S, what a difference.

You must have gotten a much better deal than I did, I paid over $1,800 for 4 and realized that they were the most expensive tires I have ever purchase.
But man they are good.

I was lucky enough to snag a set of 245/295 from Brumos, for $538.00 shipped. The owner of the car had put them on 2 weeks prior to trading it in. Since they were no N rated, they had to replace them to CPO the car.

I think that deal officially can be considered "screaming"

Great price. I'm running 255/305's. First set were around $1700, the second set I won at Road Atlanta.

Regarding the front 255 vs 245, and the rear 295 vs 305. Would either of the sizes work on the OEM rims? What are the pros and cons to consider? Thanks!

I'm running the stock Sport Techno's without problem. I just wanted more meat on the road.

i stuck to the factory sizes on my 20" carrera S wheels. I was debating 305's in the rear, but at some point will be getting new wheels with the correct offset to have the wheels/tires sit flush with the fenders so i opted against going larger in width now. However, both sizes work on the stock wheels.

Not only are they softer and quieter, but they hook up and stick like no other. After a long drive to a sunday bbq i found myself at a stop sign with a mile of flat road ahead with nobody in sight. launch control ... told the wife to hang on ... boom. the amount of grip is noticeable, far better than the Zeros. the 1 - 2 shift was seamless and didn't lose any traction as experienced with the P Zeros.

Great tires. Let's hope they last!

How is the sidewall stiffness?

I remember switching back and forth between PS2s, Sport Maxx TTs, Invos, NT-05s, and others on my previous car but constantly found myself going back to a tire with a stiffer sidewall.

Grip, stickiness, and road noise were all important, but I was more interested in the feel of the car going into and coming out of a corner.

So, how's the PSS?
