Price check: 2013 991 base CPO
Hi all,
I found a local 991 base carrera, 6MT, CPO with 13k miles locally, a 2013. It was a $99k build, and pretty much the build I wanted. 6MT, sport Chrono, premium plus, sport seats, and 20" wheels.
Dealer is asking $69,500. Obviously it is a CPO, which adds value: what's likely a "good" price for this car? Does anyone have a ballpark of wholesale pricing? I would think the CPO adds around $3k in costs for the dealer, as well as new rear tires. I want to be fair, but don't want to overpay, as I like, but don't love, the color (the ultimate for me is some shade of blue).
Also, not sure the market for manuals these days. In a lot of other cars, a manual won't sell unless it is a very specific car. Are most buyers migrating to PDK these days? I definitely want a manual, just more engaging.

The attractive thing about a local dealer car is avoiding consign in the M if I can negotiate a good trade price. Still, if anyone knows of a great car in your area, feel free to post here. Consigning the M is always a good option with spring coming
A related note: what does the CPO cost the dealer, and is the coverage worth the markup?

69k is a fair price for CPO with such low miles. What manheim says doesn't concern you thats for dealers only. Dealers have overhead & yearly expenses and headaches you couldnt imagine, thats why there is that little 3-5% margin on such a large investment.
Good luck with the purchase you will love it

This car sounds very similar to mine that I purchased on October 31, 2016. 2013 Base with 7MT, heated/cooled seats, a few other items but around $99K build. Mine had about 9,500 miles when I bought it, but not CPO. I paid $68K. So your price sounds reasonable to me.
