Vibration around 3,300 rpm

Hi everyone, I have a 2014 C2 PDK and I notice vibration, or more of a resonance actually, around 3,300 rpm when driving. Doesn't seem to happen at idle.

I did find a few threads about this and it seemed that some were honing in on the heat shield as the culprit. However, the threads sorta died without any resolution.

Is anyone experiencing this still, and if so, have you identified the root cause?

Thanks,
Mike

It is RPM based and I have a bone stock exhaust system.

There was a recall on early exhausts, have you had that done?

Hi Chuck, my car was built in late 2013 as a model year 2014. I thought the recall did not affect my year. Is there a way I can determine that? By VIN maybe?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi 991 4S, no, not yet resolved. I actually had an appointment to bring the car to the dealer today but cancelled because I'm not hearing the noise much due to, what I assume to be, the warmer weather.

Once it gets cooler again I assume it will get more pronounced and then I'll bring it to the dealer.

Best,
Mike
