2014 C2S

I have tried a few options with the Multi Display showing the "Vehicle Info".

I like it set up as follows...

Compass
Water Temp
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Range (miles to empty)

What I can't figure out is will the car "store" my preferences so the display stays the same?

I had the range on top and set the key memory settings (memory buttons on door) but I believe that only controls seat, steering wheel and mirrors.

When I set the top line to range every time I left the vehicle and returned it was displaying the compass. So my settings didn't "stick".

Then I let the compass stay on the top and put the range in the 4th line. Left the car, got back in and the range was gone....

Any help appreciated...

 

I have a 2012 991 and my programmable ones stay. Check your manual, as not all are assignable.

Should have replied here earlier.

In the MFD Menus you have to "enable" memory settings.

Then the Vehicle Info will stay in place based on the Key...I think it's the key?

Anyway...mine are holding the way I want them....

Compass
Water Temp
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure
Distance to Empty (range)

And then at the bottom time & temperature.... I think?
