991.2 Targa GTS Came In!
I haven't posted in awhile and it's usually on the Turbo forum(I had a '14 and a '17 TTS), but it's been about 4 months since I placed the order and my Targa GTS finally came in. Of course it's on a long weekend, and who in the world delivers a car on a Sunday, but whatever, I'm glad it finally made it.
This is the first Porsche I ordered specifically to my liking and maybe I went a bit overboard but I'm stoked to pick it up. It's been at the Long Beach port for a week and my dealer is in Long Beach so I've been going nuts wondering when they were going to deliver it! Turns out Sunday on a long weekend.
Here's the build:
Carmine Red
GTS Interior Package
PCCB's
Heated multi-function wheel
Burmester
18-way adaptive seats
Side skirts painted
Black LED headlights
Alcantara sunvisors
Premium Package
And best of all, 7-speed MANUAL transmission.

Thanks everyone. I picked the car up tonight and it's fantastic. It has a completely different personality than either Turbo. It obviously not nearly as fast, but the sounds is way better. And the motor and drivetrain certainly have their own uniqueness to them. I only got to drive about 40 miles, more will be revealed in the next few days.
Another big difference between the GTS and Turbo is the ride. The 2017 TTS rode much better than the 2014, but the GTS ride smoother than either. The GTS in Sport suspension mode feels like a TTS in normal mode. Both ride excellent, just the GTS is smoother.
