Finally - N spec Pilot Sports for 911s!

I was on Tirerack earlier and noticed an Nspec Pilot Sport 4S for the 911 (991) 20 inch.

After years and years of posts, rumors, and michelin new tire launch events featuring 911s!! etc... Official N specs are finally here.

I'll definitely be upgrading from the P Zeros next year.

That must have been one hell of a restrictive agreement with Pirelli....

Has anyone tried them yet?

DRP

No, I’m about 4 months away from needing new shoes and that’s what I’m getting. My dealer won’t mount them so off to a local shop who does high end cars.

Why won't they mount them?

If there is an N spec P4S your dealer will be able to order them; however, maybe not at a price point you wish to pay. My Porsche dealer will get anything I would want, but their prices are higher than TireRack.

A dealer than does high end cars is a good thought. Not all tire dealers can handle such wide wheels.

I’m lucky with the nearby Costco. I bought Cup2s and Alpins, no scratch on the wheels

That must be Sonnen. The dealer in San Jose will mount anything and is competitive with Tirerack.

My new GTS was delivered to the dealer yesterday afternoon. I went over to get a quick look and to my surprise, Michelins were on it from the factory.

Enjoy the new ride!

Didn't want CL wheels, not a big fan of black wheels so I guess my "choice" was made for me. But hey, I'm a happy guy ;-)

Also, keep in mind it'll look better once the shipping blocks are removed, the colored crests are installed and the side markers are swapped to clear.

YES.
They were manufactured in France during the weeks of: 37 (fronts) and 38 (rears) 2017. My car was in production from 9/29 to 10/9. So it appears that just after the tires popped out of the mold they were delivered to Zuffenhausen and installed on my car.

How do you like them? Can you post photo(s) and/or the actual writing on the sidewalls? Been having a hard time sourcing them in the N spec. Just put some on a Benz.
