Drove GT4 and 991 Turbo S for comparo
Last weekend I had the privilege to drive both a GT4 Cayman and a 2017 Cert Turbo S. Both were great in their own right- probably the Turbo S was a little more for me, but not by much.
GT4- Best shifter known to man, amazing sound, great brakes- but actually felt just a little underpowered to me compared to a 911 GTS for example.
Turbo S - if you want your internal organs compressed- this car is for you. This car just puts you into warp speed and it was clear that this amount of performance really isn't necessary for the public roads. That said, it is brilliant, and sounds brilliant as well. The PDK has been improved! The PDCC helps the car feel very nimble and driving this would be an event every time you get behind the wheel.
Now I'm trying to angle for ordering a 'base' 911 Turbo- which I'm sure would also be amazing with PDCC.
