Had 19in OEM 911 rims on my 2017 Carrera.

Put on a used set of 2015 20in OEM Rims w/ oem sensors.

Now Car error says needs TPSM are not registering and need to bring to dealer?

Do I need to bring to dealer to syce?

TPSM sensors are only 3 years old with 1500 miles on them.

Go thru your menu tab (joy stick on column) and do a reset so it will re-learn those sensors and you will be good.

I may be wrong, but I believe that TPSM sensors changed between '15 and '17. You may need new sensors.

 

That is correct, they changed on the .2

Is it best I buy sensors and have tire shop put in, or do shops like to install and use their own sensors?

any idea what cost to install might be?

Bring your own and have them install them.

 

The tire shop will then decline any guarantee.

 

I've never had a TPMS sensor fail in 10+ years I've had vehicles with them. How much is your installer charging you for a set of 4? The link I provided is for the same OEM quality than the ones you would buy directly from Porsche but at a much better pricing.
