I have a 2014 911 s.
I am trying to find a suitable dash cam.
There is one that i found that has a dual lens and appears to be perfect - n2 pro by vantrue.
However, it has a very weak internal battery and requires a live outlet in order to engage parking mode and motion sensor when the car is turned off.
Are there any power ports/outlets on this model/year porsche that stay live even when the car is off?

The only other option is to hardwire it. I would like to avoid this option but any advice on this point would be appreciated too.

I don't think any sockets stay live, they all turn off in about 30 minutes. If you hard wire your cams, they will drain battery. Your best bet is to get an external battery or magic power pro - which will shut off power to the dashcam once it monitors that your battery is getting too low. See link for options

I have a 2014 911 cab (non s). Passenger foot well outlet always live; I use to connect trickle charger when in storage. Also will occasionally charge phone when I am parked for a few hours. Don't know about outlet under center console armrest; never use!
