What's the difference in powertrain components 991.1 or 991.2 Turbo vs 991.2 Carrera?

A buddy of mine is interested in a 991.2 Carrera 4 or 4S. I'm trying to convince him to get a used 991.1 Turbo or Turbo S. Does anyone know the difference between the 991.1 or 991.2 Turbo variants vs the 991.2 Carrera 4 or 4S? Is it essentially the same 9A1 engine, PDK, and AWD system with same robustness but lower power hardware? Or is it a similar design but with lighter weight (less robust) internal components?

To me the biggest advantage to the turbo is the rear wheel steering. It was on all of the 2014-16 turbo's but an option on the 991.2 cars. Never available on the 991.1 cars. (Except the

turbo).
