Questions on DME report

Are over revs the principal thing I am looking for in a DME report?=start
=start
The car I'm looking at has 116 over revs in Gear 1...I guess that is code Z111 with 192 operating hours.=start
=start
Nothing in any other gear.=start

I really don't know what to look for and what to be concerned about.=start

Thanks for any assistance.

That’s 116 counts in Range 1. That is just at readline and is of no concern. Hits in range 5/6 are the problemmatic ones as that is at the mechanical limits. Based on the hour count when the range 1 occurred, you can tell how recent it happened when compared to the total hours.

Always get a full PPI on any car you consider....the $300 or so is quite a bit of peace of mind.
