991. Pdk issues
I’ve been reading up on quite a few people having issues with their 991 PDK.
JUST VERY CURIOUS TO KNOW IF THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THESE?
I hear the fix is near $18,000 mark.
im in the market for a 991 in a manual trans , however I was considering PDK.
ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED

The PDK is a very reliable award winning transmission and read somewhere the failure rate under 100k miles is less than 1%. Its likely a greater % of manual transmissions are damaged by human error due to mis-shifts... The major drawback with the PDK is if it does break most are simply replaced (although I have heard select speciality shops rebuild). This video sums up reliability best IMO with 50 straight launch controls in a Turbo S:
