991 Won't Start

Help... I did something stupid. My 991 won't start and the instrument cluster won't light up. I use a trickel charger to keep the battery charged and it's connected directly to the battery. I forgot to unplug it and started the engine. It started fine but now I have these strange problems. Everthing else seems to work except the instriment panel. I checked both fuse panels but didn't find any blown fuses. Any thoughts?

Not sure starting the car with the trickle charger on caused the problem, as I have done if before with no issues. Is the instrument cluster not lighting the only problem? Did you try turning the odometer reset button?

How old is the battery? You might be in order for a new one. A battery going south will play heck with the electronics.....my experience.
