I have the opportunity to purchase a couple of 991/981 14-way heated seats. My intention is to mount them in a non-Porsche vehicle. How difficult would it be for me to wire them up to obtain the seat adjustments and heating option?
There appears to be a large yellow multi-pin socket on each seat. Would I be able to obtain some functionality if I simply figure out how to supply power to this socket? I know there is a lot going on with a seat like this (airbags, memory function, seat belt sensors and the like) but I would be satisfied to get the seat adjustments alone if that was doable.
