'06 BCGT Driver Side Seat Memory Fail

For no explained reason, yesterday the driver side seat memory has failed. The automatic forward motion when the seat is tilted forward for a rear passenger has also failed. I have done the factory initialization twice for the seat with no success. The passenger seat works properly. What should I look for?

Seat memory problem solved

I solved my seat memory problem, that was exactly the same as yours. Including the front/back motion when the seat is tilted forward. The attached factory instructions must be followed exactly for it work. PDF attached. These instructions are different than was reported on this website.
Good Luck. JS

As noted in the detailed instructions the key to it is to reset the steering column too. Mine goes quite often.

Reset per the factory manual - moving in all directions to the stop points, holding for 10 seconds at each stop point. Also same for mirrors and steering wheel.
