I didn’t see any 992 GT3 Posts in the GT3 forum so thought this forum might be better. It’s getting close to time to order the 992 GT3 and I am bouncing back and forth between the manual and PDK. I have a 991 GT3 now with PDK and had a 997 GT3 manual. While the manual is fun and all, it just can’t hang with the PDK. I also get enough of banging through gears in other areas. On the other side, the manual is still a lot of fun and the resale seems the be better. I don’t need to be the fastest person on track at his stage and mainly just drive this on the track for fun. I also don’t bother to change to slicks for DE’s at this point either so track times are not the main concern. That thought process leads me toward the manual but grappling with the fact that the PDK is far superior. Would live to hear others thoughts to help make this decision.

 

I just bought a 992 S with a manual trans, its delightful. The clutch and shifting are very light and crisp, much nicer than the prior gen 991 series.
