Make a case for a 992 GTS Targa....
I'm somewhat interested in getting a targa. All prior 911s were coupes.
So if 1) we know the targa gts suspension is the same as the 4S; 2) you can add black trim, wheels, headlights, and clear taillights etc...to a 4S and get the look of a GTS; and 3) Lets assume you'd get black leather on your GTS anyway and not the GTS alcantara package, then... What are you paying essentially $20k more for? A power bump, centerlocks if you choose and slightly bigger brakes?
You could equip a Targa 4S to look like a GTS with a black roll hoop etc,, and add PCCBs and still be at a lower figure...
Am I missing anything? Is there something more to the package? Do they change spring rates, or remove soundproofing or change the exhaust?
Thanks,
DRP

I actually like the look of the Targa 4S better and for the money I would opt this because you actually do not get the sport suspension from the GTS in the GTS Targa, and like you said you can pretty much opt the Targa 4s with those options.
If sound/exhaust connection is a big thing for you, then you are at odds. I am not a big fan of the GTS but compared to the Carrera S, there is more driver connection.
