Porsche Dash Camera

Getting the Dash Camera installed in my 992 GTS today, will give an update in the next few days. The dealer has no idea how long it will take as they have never installed one, appears pretty easy from the instructions.

Well its in and is very nice but cannot figure out how to get it on my Iphone, seems I don't have a hotspot which it asks for. Going to take me a while to figure this out and will update you on how this went. I know its working because it talks to you when it goes on, off and in parking mode. I guess I can pull out the card and play it on my PC if I need to but I only got this so if there is an accident or my car is hit and the guy takes off I will have some form of video.

This is what it looks like installed but this is a photo from my Taycan which I put the same Porsche dash Camera in. What I like is the audio from the camera has a German accent.

Does the dash cam have both front and rear recording views? What was the dealer cost with install and labor?

The new model of the camera has front and rear and you can get it prewired if you build your car. The cost for the just the install by a Porsche dealer is around $1300 but probably more for the new model with front and rear/
