Help. Dead Battery and Cannot Open Frunk

Hello,

I have a 2022 Carrera GTS, and I can't open the hood to charge a dead battery. I understand that I need to use the emergency key to open the car, connect the positive cable to the red tab in the fuse box, and ground the negative cable.

I've tried with three different chargers, but none of them worked. Oddly, there is no small spark when I connect the cables. (I have also tried grounding it in several places.)

In this video (
), it seems he couldn't do it either. Note that he has a GT3.

I feel I am doing it correctly, but, wondering -- Is there a difference between the regular carreras and the GT3/GTS? I think the GT3 and GTS use lithium batterries.

I called my dealer, but they couldn't provide any helpful advice aside from suggesting I try with a car battery. I will try that next, but I'm not confident it will work.

If anyone has any input it would be a huge help. Thanks a ton

Or if you have the smoking package you can plug the charger into the lighter.
