i don't think we were talking about it not being a TT S. I think the problem is the rear trunk lid isn't stock. The Turbo S shown on the back is not original equipment and we were wondering why it's not original. wrecked? or not actually a turbo S? who knows
Well, you can see pretty easily that the "Turbo S" script on the back is not from a 993. I don't know why anyone would ever make a change like that. Rip off the original script and put an incorrect one on? You'd have to REALLY love that 996 big S and chrome "turbo" to do that to a collectible car like that.
well I guess the VIN number would prove if it's an "S" and I believe it could authenticated by Porsche NA. As far as an accident like you say who knows. Thanks for your thoughts. Good info to have in my hip pocket.
