996 turbo tires on a 993?

Can the front 996 turbo wheels, 996.362.136.04 fit on a 1996 C4S? The current rims are 993.362.136.00. I need to replace one bent rim, and found a good deal on a pair of 996 wheels. Thank you.

Are you just replacing front wheels? They are slightly different than the 993 twists. But if you are replacing them all they will fit a C4S it's the same tub as the 993TT.

Thank you for the confirmation. Only the front wheels are being replaced. Will there be a significantly different cosmetic appearance between the front (996) and rear (993) wheels? I've not found accurate photos for side-by-side comparisons.

YES, they are not the same at all. The 996 has a flat spoke while the 993 is more rounded.
