It's not so bad.

 

ppl just want something different i think. i don't think it's all that great. same goes for silver scripted emblems.

 

It is just a matter of personal taste.

Mexico makes you want to get one too doesnt' it? Just perfect the way it sits.

I would put a silver crest on that baby in a heartbeat.

 

I want a silver steeering wheel crest also but can't seem to find them.

 

I know Eric at Bumperplugs was working on something but I never did hear that the end result was.

Personally I would prefer a silver crest.

 

That's a no no unless it actually is a RUF.

 

They look great on a black car, I have had mine for almost 4 years. It is so old I need a new one .

Silver crests were available from several vendors for the past 5-6 years or so. THEN Porsche realized they were being sold without THEIR permission and that they were NOT a Porsche authorized part! They immediately threatened all of those vendors to cease selling Silver crests. So.....some of those vendors still have some silver crests stashed away but cannot sell them on the open market. And if a vendor sold one privately to an "undercover" Porsche legal eagle, the seller could be in deep poop. Nothing to keep a person from selling one on Ebay though, so keep an eye open!
