Spruced up the DD

Got to love eBay!!
Picked up another Traffic Pro, antenna from Becker USA. $350
Tips from eBay, cheap, like $60
Carrera S sills $149 (yes, I know it's not a S, but they were cheap!)

Pics, the exhaust tips were super easy, & the old ones were the shielded small ones.
STOCK

NEW

Traffic Pro, basic NAV unit, but it's a Becker 220 HU.

Again, I KNOW it's not a S, but they were cheap!

The tips took about 20min to install, & I'm sure there is some tweaking that needs to be done. My garage is to small to stand back far enough to see both on the same plane.

The TP took about an hour to install, since this was my 2nd time, it went smoothly. The NAV antenna, & iPod cable took the most time. In the far back interior shot, you can see the antenna on the top center of the dash.

The door sills, took about 1.5hrs! WHAT A MESS! The old glue would just not come off, & I broke & cracked the plastic ones in trying to remove them. The old tape would not leave the body, even with 3m Adhesive Remover. I scratched the paint a little on the passenger side, & did a little touch up. The new ones took about 2min to install.:banghead:

I'm getting the C4S out of the paint shop today, just had the front end shaved & redone. Can't wait!

Looks great. Pretty soon you are going to have to get a C2 DD to protect the C4 DD protecting your C4S queen!
