So did you buy the car? Nice pics, looks like its in great aesthetic shape anyway. How did it check out?

yes I did purchase the car, drove it home on Wednesday. Everything went well. The vehicle was smoking slightly due to the valve covers leaking a little on the exhaust. I've started the process of getting new covers, just trying to decide which ones to go with. I love driving the car - it's very fun and love the looks!

Looks very clean and tidy especially in the inside. Congratulations on this bargain!

Old shocks probably expired sometime ago so getting coilovers makes more sense money wise for the long term.

That's the nicest $21K Porsche I've seen in a long time. Congratulations!

+1 for the PSS9's. I have them on the 996TT, brother has them on his 993TT, they are very streetable.

FYI: Adrian Streather wrote a GREAT book on the 993. It includes everything from DIY service to history. It is very detailed and a huge volume. Not cheap but is anything that is superb? The title is: "Porsche 993, The Essential Companion". It is packed with 432 pages of information. I believe the price is $69.95 [loaned my copy to my brother and.....]
