Air-conditioner in the 993

I am thinking of buying a 96' or 97' 993, one of my major concern is the air conditioner must be working very well and reliable as I am from the a very humid and hot country. Any ideas, pleaseee?

Just took a 1211 mile trip with mostly highway miles in hot and humid conditions and the air worked great.

The air in mine went over the winter. Apparently there is a recall with something in the A/C, haven't gotten it checked out yet.

It works just like any modern car. I used mine in 100deg weather for a weekend with no issues at all.

I will have to get mine checked out. Bought the car in December and have only tried the AC recently,..........it doesn't blow any cold air at all.

I had a great PPI done when I bought the car and the AC checked out so maybe it is something minor. This is my first Porsche, but I have never had hopes of great AC in it,.......this thread gives me hope.

Most likely it just needs to be recharged. Mine had the same issue.
