Disconnected Battery

Can anybody advise if there are any issues or concerns by having the battery disconnected for a long period of time? Any problem to be concerned as a result? What needs to be done with the car once the battery is once again connected? Mine is a 1995 narrow body 993.

Thanks in advance.

I would think you shouldn't have any issues being as you have an OBDI car other than having to enter the radio code.

Nope, no issues, except the radio code will need to be put back in, & the readiness codes will not be set. But no real problems at all with it.

It's just all the emissions sensors get reset when the battery is unplugged. On a ODBI car it's ok, on a ODBII car it can take quite a wile for them all to reset.

go buy a battery tender. They work really well and everything is well sorted when in use.
