Congrats. What a beauty...curious why you did that. Was it the air-cooled itch or just not happy with the 997 ? Please share your driving impressions with a head to head comparison when u get a chance. Enjoy in good health. One owner 993..wow u did great.

I made a similar move about two months ago. I traded my 2006 Carrera S coupe for a 1997 993 C2S. The 997 is a great car, phenomenal performance and comfort but I just love the older air-cooled 911's. The way they drive, the connection to the road, the sounds, the smells....it's just right. I have a 73 911S as well, and the 993 is a much more refined and comfortable version of the older 911. I love it
