Exhaust Question!

I just bought a 1996 C4S. and it comes with B&B Mufflers on it. THey look good, but no GREAT, and i was thiking to get those overlapping circle tips that you can get for the 996 cars.....do you guys know if they will bolt on, or can be welded on etc...and how mcuh they will run me! THANKS! Also what are they CALLED! LOL

I think they are better than $300.00. A good muffler shop certainly can take care of the welding

SHoudl i buy these tips from a 996 Turbo or a 996 C4S? Which will be easier to modify and fit?

Adam,
I never did drive the 993 on advice from people who thought I was having a senior moment even thinking about trading my turbo.
My 2001 has one exhaust pipe on either side of the car. I think they look cleaner than the two twins on later models. I would sketch each system you have in mind and take the drawing to a muffler shop close to you for their professional opinion. Even better if you could take the a sample of each exhaust tip with you to the muffler shop.

Are the tips for a 996 C4S different in design than the tip for a 996 Turbo? I just wnat to knwo if they are even the same part #! Don Relentless seems to think that they are the same part! ADVISE! THANKS!
