You can actually gain some significant power with BOLT ON mods for any 993. A 1995 993 can easily be brought up to 300 to 305HP from 272 stock HP with a freeflow exhaust, CUP airbox and chip. No loss whatsoever in torque or horsepower at any RPM range.
If you are a racer and or want to remove the catalytic converters ther is another +10HP and weight savings too.
Dyno results are posted on our website from Fabspeed and independent sources from all over the USA and Europe.

The Porsches cars are designed to make power BUT be very quiet...........all the Porsches that have been around for over 40 years have be proven to make more power with GOOD solid proven modifications. From early 911 to 3.2 carrears to 964, 993, 996 and late model 997 cars.

Is it possible to upgrade the engine to 3.8L?

 

Yes, you could either buy a crate 3.8 or bore out your 3.6. I would only have the job done at a Porsche specific shop that has done this before (several times).

 

do you have any pictures of your 993 rs? My dad races a 993 rs in C stock. Just seeing if i have seen ur car.
