MY02 Wheels and Tires for a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera (NB)

Hi Guys,

I am planning of installing set of wheels coming from a 996 but would like to get those of your comments/ opinions. Any information as to offset, tire size, etc of I need to know before I purchase one. I've seen a set recently and noted the tire size to be 225x40x18 (front) and 285x30x18 (rear). Seller said that these came off from his 996 Carrera. Will these fit to my narrow body 993?

Thanks in advance for the infos.

Those should work. I had MY02's on my 993 for years. Make sure they are coming off of a regular C2 not an "S" as the widebody "S" have a different offset.

Sounds like a WB set of wheels, 265 rear tires are usually NB.

Find out the rear offsets.

Hi Stealth,

Just got the info from seller

Front: 8J x 18 ET 50 (tires used is 225 x 40 x 18)
Rear: 10J x 18 ET 65 (tires used is 285 x 30 x 18)

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

That looks like a NB fitment, but use 265 rear rubber, 285 is going to be tight.

With offset of 65, you should be ok on the rear with 285. Some tires are more round and some are more square. The square-shouldered tires will be questionable but rounder ones will be fine.
