No, only the Turbo's, C2S and C4S cars are wider. How much are you looking to spend and what are you planning on doing with it? What exactly do you need to know? Feel free to PM me and I can give you my # and we can talk. $ no object obviously a 993 TTS. Next would be a TT, then a C2S then C4S. If you are looking to spend under $40k you can still get into a nice lower milage car (95-96). In this case I would personally stick with a regular Carrera as opposed to a C4. The rear wheel drive (Like mine) feels more "classic 911" on the road. Since you are in Cali I am sure there are tons of them out there.
Good Luck
Regards,
Luis

Thanks Luis

the 993 TTS is a little out of my price range. I'm thinking the C2S...gotta have the wide body. What year did the C2S first appear? Anything I should be aware of? eg: any years where Porsche had issues with the C2S?

Thanks.

Hey Mel,
The C2S was introduced in 97. C4S was in 96. I am not familiar with any specific issues on the C2S. I know that there is a valve guide wear issue on the 96 and older cars that cause the check engine light to come on. It appearently also happens on 95 but the light does not come on.(has not happened to mey yet at 40,000 miles) Check out www.p-car.com. This is in my opinion one of the most informative 993 sites out there.
Good Luck
Luis
