Folks, it had to happen. '03 996TT for less than $30K!!! As I am cruising through eBay Motors, I found this (my apologies, I don't know how to shrink the link):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-SI...QQcmdZViewItem

I am trying to think what I had for breakfast. But then again, if someone puts up an ad with BuyItNow price, aren't they obligated to honor it if someone does BIN and makes payment on it? Hmmmm........ I really need to lurk more to learn the tricks o' trade from the gurus, I guess.

There is a note in the add saying to contact them before using the buy it now option, but their ebay "store" has about 5 turbos for under $30k

http://stores.ebay.com/champion-porsche

and from the dealers website:

No way...not true. Champions Server was hacked, they are trying to correct the problem.

someone hacked their account.

If you look at the formatting of the other auctions (the more legitimate prices--i.e. 997 C2S for $70k) it is completely different.

Plus, the e-mail address is retarded--a gmail account? really?

Someone is just trying to make a quick buck ripping ppl off before champion figures it out.

Interesting stuff. I am not even sure what to think. I have no room to complain about them all being auto! Too bad it's probably not true lol

Their account has been hijacked. That is why they only want you to email them.

The email address listed will not be directing to the actual Champion Porsche company.

Being the nice guy I am, in order to make you feel better, I'll offer to take your 03 off your hand for $35K.
