I don't know why but they don't really do it for me. There's a lot to be said for the turbo twists They're sorta traditional I guess and do look good on the car. Those wheels, well they are just "ordinary" and don't really remind me of Porsche. They could come on an STi..

PS Let's hope they NEVER again bring back the phone dial wheels

IMHO... The GT3 style wheel is very much a traditional wheel style from Posche. Sort of a modern version of the Fuchs alloys, though you really have to see them direct from the side to appreciate. But I do agree with you 100% on the phone dials...

I like it also, but shouldn't the wheels on the tt be the GT2 12" rather than the GT3 10". Correct me if I am wrong. . .

Yes the GT3 style wheels are an option for the Turbo, actually a Turbo this year at the NY Auto Show had them on it, they IMO are very much in resemblance to the Fuch design and this new wheel is my favorite Porsche wheel to date, excellent design.

Ron, the GT3 is wearing an 11" wheel in the rear not a 10"

The new turbo wheels (ala the '04 GT2/3 style) are the exact width and offset as the traditional Porsche 5-spoker -- 8"et50 front and 11"et45 rear. You can fit GT2-sized wheels on the Turbo and then they would be: 8.5"et40 and 12"et45.

I like them also......
